The Taliban exposed the bodies of 4 people on a crane in the main square of the city of Herat, Afghanistan. This was reported by a witness to the Associated Press, while various videos of activists denouncing the fact are running on the web. The Taliban hoisted them as a warning to the population: “Here is the penalty for the kidnappers”, is written on a white sign hanging on the body of one of the four men shot dead today – Saturday – and then exposed to the public in the big city of western Afghanistan.
