culminated The fifth edition of the International Ultra Marathon 100km of the Caribbean Non Stop by Propagandas was successful. in an ecological route of a single stage of 100 kilometers. in the city of San José Ocoa, crossing the Valle Nuevo National Park, with the participation of more than 70 athletes who completed a 100-kilometer journey in a maximum time of 24 hours, arriving at the Altocerro hotel in Constanza in the hours of the early morning.

Mariluz Viñas, General Director of the event, highlighted for the support received: “I want to especially thank the Propagas Group and the Propagas Foundation, as well as the support I received. as well as the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources; Thanks to them, the fifth edition of the 100km of the Caribbean Non Stop by Propagas and the 5K Family Run Propagas could take place. An unprecedented event that seeks to promote the conservation of our environment and natural resources.”

This year, we once again met our objective, Viñas, who as an athlete and organizer, is proud to be able to affirm that we have a unique event, that produces zero (0) waste since we do not use plastic or any other type of disposable material, it is mandatory that each athlete carries with him what he needs and is ready for it. It is completely forbidden to throw waste into the environment, in turn we promote ecological tourism by making our mountains and the beautiful landscapes that our island offers known, allowing our participants to enter a new world learning through sport through conserve and learn about our natural resources.”
