The Seventh Chamber rejected the appeal of annulment filed against the sentence that sentenced Michael Torres Sáez to 10 years and one day in prison, as the author of the frustrated crime of homicide of a police officer in Pudahuel.
The Santiago Court of Appeals rejected the appeal for annulment filed against the sentence that convicted the perpetrator of the frustrated crime of homicide of a police officer in Pudahuel.
In a unanimous ruling, the Seventh Chamber of the appellate court ruled out infringement in the evaluation of the evidence in the appealed sentence, issued by the First Criminal Oral Trial Court of Santiago.
It should be noted that he was also sentenced to 3 years and one day for carrying a prohibited firearm ; and two sentences of 541 days for possession of ammunition and micro-trafficking of drugs.

Therefore, it is resolved that: “the appeal for annulment is rejected, deduced by the defense of the sentenced Michael Yordan Torres Sáez, against the sentence handed down on September 10, handed down by the First Criminal Oral Trial Court of this city, in the RUC No. 2000270340-9 , RIT No. 102-2022, which consequently is not void”.
