On July 15, it was reported that in Ukraine, during transportation, almost 10 thousand doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty coronavirus vaccine were spoiled. The authorities said that two weeks ago the state enterprise Ukrmedpostavka delivered 21.6 thousand doses of the vaccine to the Kharkiv regional pharmacy warehouse. Abnormalities were found when taken in two containers with 9360 doses. A video appeared on the network demonstrating that a batch of vaccine arrived in Kharkiv in a box without refrigeration elements, in which the temperature is above zero.
As of July 15, in Ukraine vaccinated 3.2 percent of the population. At the same time, in order to achieve collective immunity and defeat the coronavirus pandemic in Ukraine, at least 250 thousand people should be vaccinated daily by the end of the year, said Yuriy Ganichenko, head of the Center for Health Economics of the Kiev School of Economics.

Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine called on the authorities of the republic to prepare for a potential outbreak of COVID-19 due to the increase in the incidence of the Indian strain of coronavirus in Europe. The Ministry of Health of Ukraine did not rule out that a lockdown could be announced in the fall in the country.
