Volkswagen Passat prepares to greet forever the US market. The station wagon of the German car manufacturer will in fact be withdrawn from the USA: this was announced by the Wolfsburg brand, which added that its intention is not only to stop production but also to cut off sales. In short, a farewell to the United States that will probably be definitive, both in terms of production and marketing throughout the country.

The stop to all activities that revolve around the Passat in the United States is expected for next year: remember that overseas Volkswagen assembles its station wagon in a plant in Tennessee, and the last version of the Passat that should come off the production lines will be the MY 2022. The passator speak clearly: Volkswagen has sold various versions of the Passat since 1974 in the United States, although the name “Passat” first appeared on the US market only in 1990.
