How trends are identified

To identify the most popular search queries, a score is used that is based on a relative scale in which a value of 100 indicates the most frequent search query, while a value of 50 indicates queries whose search is half the frequency of the most popular query, and so on.

< p class=”paragraph”>On the other hand, to determine the queries with the largest increase in search frequency since the last period, the results categorized as “breakpoint” are those that have seen a large increase. This probably happens because these search queries are new and the previous search frequency has been low or non-existent, as explained in the released report.
