What happened in episode 4 of ‘What if ..?’?
TheFourth episode showed what would have happened if Stephen Strange had taken a darker course, in order to recover his beloved from the tragic accident that we saw in the film directed by Scott Derrickson.
Unlike other installments, El Vigilante appeared in the last minutes of the episode and broke its rule: zero intervention in events that take place on alternate lines.
As we saw, Doctor Strange Supreme pleads with the cosmic entity to save his universe and to be punished for his mistakes. Although El Vigilante did not alter the facts, he did reveal his existence to the protagonist who could later seek revenge.
