Every summer we hear about Paris Saint-Germain. The whole of the French capital always makes great signings and has thus managed to bring together several of the best players in the world, among whom will soon be Lionel Messi. The Argentine has reached an agreement with PSG and will form a trident with Kylian Mbappé and Neymar, escorted by midfielders such as Verratti, Di Marís, Wijnaldum or Paredes. Where does the money come from to get this signing and who runs the club? TAll the answers revolve around Nasser Al-Khleaifi, the club’s president, and Qatar.
Throughout this article we are going to explain who Nasser Al-Khelaifi is, but we believe it is important to highlight that, contrary to what many people believe, he is not the owner of Paris Saint-Germain. Al-Khelaifi serves as president of the club by order of Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Qatari emir who put him in charge of the club after acquiring it through the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) fund.
