No way, Microsoft isn’t testing Android apps.
Recently Microsoft announced that app support Android would not have been available on Windows 11 at launch, although the company is preparing to test the functionality, having put the Android subsystem on the Microsoft Store.
Consoles had also appeared below that list Xbox: from here rumors have arisen about possible support for Android apps on consoles Xbox Series X / S And Xbox One. Now comes the denial of Microsoft, which, through a spokesperson, said that at present there is no plan to bring support for Android apps on Xbox.
While Google has made great efforts to bring its apps to tablets and TVs, many of these apps aren’t optimized for this type of display. Not to mention that Microsoft has made Xbox Game Pass as a workhorse: allowing players to access Android apps, including possibly free-to-play games, doesn’t actually seem like a wise move.
