Yusuf Shah, an 11-year-old boy living in Leeds (England), recently scored 162 at a daily intellectual (IQ) test. With this result, the child places himself ahead of two of the greatest geniuses of the 20th century, the American physicist Albert Einstein and the British astrophysicist Stephen Hawking who had an IQ of 160. He is also the highest score. that is possible to obtain for someone under the age of 18, says The Independent.

It was the young Brit’s classmates who prompted him to to take an IQ test. “Everyone at; The school thinks I’m very smart and I always wanted to know if I was one of the 2% of people who got this result when they took the test” he explained; to our British colleagues from Metro.
Yusuf Shah’s friends in Leeds are always telling him he is very smart, but he wanted to find out for himself by taking the Mensa test.
He scored 162 – the maximum IQ for under-18s, putting him in the top one percent of all people.

To Oxford or Cambridge?
Even though he’s not old 11-year-old Yusuf Shah has already a clear idea about his future career. This passionate Sudoku and Rubik’s Cube want to study math Cambridge or Oxford, the two most prestigious universities in the country. In the meantime, the boy has already been guest to join Mensa, the organization bringing together people with a very high IQ.
For his family, this extraordinary result is a source of pride. However, his mother wishes to avoid overconfidence. “I always tell him: ‘Your father is always smarter than you. Even if you have talent, you have to work hard, you have to work.” she explained. His little brother, Khalid, 8, could also take the test soon.
