Three years after the signing of the Peace Agreement and New Constitution, the representatives of the main political forces in the country agree on the need to continue with the constitutional process but without neglecting the other problems of Chileans: delinquency, health and pensions.
On the threshold of the third anniversary of the signing of the Agreement for Peace and New Constitution, the representatives of the country’s main political forces commented to Radio Bío Bío on the need to continue the process because the idea continues “fully in force”.
From the Independent Democratic Union (UDI), Senator Juan Antonio Coloma, one of the protagonists of the signing of the Agreement, valued having tried to solve the social crisis of October 2019 with “more democracy”.
“The Agreement of November 15 was very important. I think that in the end the reflection remains that at a time when our democracy was in danger, it was resolved with a process that included more democracy, and that was what finally culminated on September 4 last” ;, commented.
