The patient from North Carolina who was diagnosed with the coronavirus last Thursday to stay home for three weeks, but despite the isolation, she still contracted the infection.
Riechel of Brammert, who suffers from an autoimmune disease, left the house in Charlotte during the isolation only once – for a trip to the pharmacy in March.
