Last week, Sony became embroiled in a huge controversy after they revealed that Horizon Forbidden West it wouldn’t have a free next-gen upgrade after all. The Japanese company repented and just a few minutes ago they said that they always did, all the editions of Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 would offer this upgrade at no cost to PS5. But what about the other games first-party from PlayStation? Here is the official answer.
Through an update on the official blog of PlayStation, Jim Ryan, leader of the PlayStation Studios, shared an announcement in which he explains that, from now on, all games first-party of the company that are launched for PS4 and PS5 will have improvement next-gen for only $ 10 dollars. This includes the new God of War and Gran Turismo 7.
“I want to confirm that starting today, PlayStation exclusive first-party titles released on PS4 and PS5, both in physical and digital formats, will offer a next-gen upgrade for $ 10. This applies to the new God of War and Gran Turismo 7, as well as any other PS4 and PS5 cross-gen exclusives released by Sony Interactive Entertainment. “
