German archaeologist Rainer Kune discovered an ancient city from biblical times in Spain. He studied satellite photos of a reserve in the south of the country and saw giant rings under the sandy swamps.
Scientist Rainer Kune made a discovery thanks to which the world community learned about the ancient city of Tarshish. According to the Old Testament, this settlement was located “across the sea from the Holy Land.”
Gold and silver were exported from this city to Israel. The coordinates of Tarshish were lost, then, for several hundred years, the city became a legend. At the same time, he was interested in archaeologists who periodically organized expeditions to find the city. The archaeologist saw in the satellite images rectangularstructureslocated inside giant rings. Further, the scientist suggested that we are talking about buildings created by people. According to ancient claims, the city of Tarshish was located “behind the Pillars of Hercules.” Presumably, this is how the Rock of Gibraltar was called in ancient times. The specialist said that the rectangular structures in the images and the information about the location of the city coincide in geographic location.
