At least two teachers and one student died and eleven other people were injured in an attack carried out this Friday by an armed man who fired at two schools in the Brazilian municipality of Aracruz. Right now he is on the run.
At least three people died and eleven others were injured in two schools in a neighborhood of the Brazilian city of Aracruz, where a young man armed man entered and fired indiscriminately, official sources reported this Friday.
The deceased are two teachers and a primary school student, according to the Secretary of Public Security of the state of Espírito Santo, Márcio Celante, in statements to the press.

The person responsible for the crime would be a adolescent who, with a semi-automatic pistol, fired first inside a school, then went to another, in the same neighborhood, to repeat the attack, and then fled.
The attacks occurred specifically against the Primo Bitti State Primary and Secondary School (EEEFM) and the private school of Coqueiral beach. First, the assailant invaded the state school with a gun and shot several times in the staff room. Two of them were killed instantly and at least nine others were injured.
The attacker then left the scene in a car and headed for the Praia de Coqueiral private school, where he killed a student and injured two other people, according to the Secretary of Public Security and Social Defense of the state of Espírito Santo, Colonel Márcio Celante.
The individual was dressed in camouflage and his face was covered to make it difficult for him to be identified by the cameras at the centers,Celante confirmed, before announcing a regional search and capture operation against the assailant.

The authorities set up a security device to try to arrest the shooter, whose identity is still unknown.
According to Celante, the The young man broke the padlock on the door of the first school and went to the teachers’ room, at the time of a break between classes, and opened fire on the teachers, killing two and wounding nine others.
In the second school, he shot three students, leaving one dead and two wounded, who, like the rest of the wounded, have been taken to nearby hospitals.
The governor of Espiritu Santo, Renato Casagrande confirmed the events, which occurred at the Bitti and Praia de Coqueiral Educational Center schools, located in the Coqueiral neighborhood of Aracruz.
He said that the possible motivation of the young man, who is suspected to be student of one of those schools, primary and secondary education.
