The exit of Neto to release a salary mass seems a fact and Barça will need a second goalkeeper for the next season. The club has good goalkeepers in the branch but they do not want to give excessive responsibility to those who are not yet ready.
The Brazilian goalkeeper likes it in Italy, where he has stood out the most throughout his career. Furthermore, Barça is determined to find another team for him and to ensure that the goalkeeper to replace him has a much lower record. So far three names have emerged with some logic:
? Barcelona is preparing in case it finally sells Neto and is already looking at experienced goalkeepers
➡ Two of those who are on the list of possible signings are the Catalan from Valladolid and the Basque from Levante

First of all we have that of Jordi Masip: The advantage of bringing Jordi back to the Camp Nou is that he knows perfectly how the team works and has proven to be a reliable goalkeeper in the first division. His club, Valladolid, has just dropped to second and it is very possible that Masip will not settle for playing in the second category of Spanish football. He is a very skilled goalkeeper but he may be overconfident on some occasions, which leads him to make big mistakes that tend to cost his teams dearly. When he has the day he is one of the best goalkeepers in the league.
The second option is Aitor Fernandez. The Levante goalkeeper was the goalkeeper who made the most saves in the 2019-2020 season. In this campaign his importance has diminished, losing his position during the second round in favor of Dani Cárdenas. The player would not see with bad eyes going from being the substitute of Levante to being the substitute of a whole Barcelona. The price of his signing would be even lower than that of Jordi Masip since in the case of Valladolid he would be getting rid of his starting goalkeeper.

The last option is Iñaki Peña. The team does not doubt his immense quality and it is considered that he will surely be an important member in the future of the entity, but perhaps at this moment he is not prepared to assume that burden of responsibility. Perhaps in a couple of seasons he will be ready to make the final leap to the first team.
