
The number of Brazilians with a complete vaccine scheme with two doses or with the immunizing agent of a single application against covid-19 reaches 98.831,064 this Saturday, 9. 968,839 applications were registered in the last 24 hours. With vaccination continuing in Brazil, 149.5 million people are partially immunized, that is, they received at least one dose. In relation to the total population, this number is equivalent to 70.07%.
The first doses were applied to 299 thousand people. On the other hand, there were 571,209 with the 2nd application of the vaccine. Single-dose immunizers were given to 1,320 people. The booster doses were administered in 97,221. The data are from the consortium of press vehicles, in partnership with 27 Health secretariats.
The Minister of Health, Marcelo Queiroga, announced at a press conference on Friday, 8th, that Brazil has 354 million doses against covid-19 “acquired or in advanced treatments” to be used in the 2022 immunization campaign. the news, the federal government also stated that it intends to administer only one dose to the public aged 18 to 60 years in the next vaccination cycle.
