The victim was walking home from work when he was shot.Although this impact has been cataloged in Chile as “a crazy bullet”, the husband of the deceased, Carlos Lizana, has another interpretation of the events that occurred.

“We are not talking about a crazy bullet, we are talking about assassins who kill people. This exceeded all limits. Innocent people continue to die and the criminal is on the street. And we, who are workers, have us cornered in our homes. The worst of all is that they are minors. They cut short our lives: as a couple, as a mother, as a husband. It’s terrible”, Lizana said.

According to the news portal Emol.com, the subjects who participated in this event “ they fled with the stolen vehicle” but were “captured by Carabineros” after they hit the machine with an electric pole. Three of the criminals are minors, one of them is 13 years old and they were taken to a police station in the community of El Bosque after the car accident.

So far, the Homicide Brigade and the Robbery Brigade of the Chilean Investigative Police are gathering more information to clarify this case. Meanwhile, the driver victim of the theft of his vehicle escaped unharmed.
