The measure specifically involves the facilities dependent on the Municipality of Arauco.
The mayor of Arauco, Elizabeth Maricán, suspended classes in the municipal buildings for Monday, due to the earthquake that shook the area on Saturday night and the series of aftershocks that have been perceived.
According to the communal authority, the suspension will be of a preventive nature, in order to review the infrastructure of each enclosure as well as the conditions of its electrical, water and gas installations to guarantee a safe return this Tuesday.
The decision involves municipal establishments, and the VTF Gardens, they detailed.
