Employees at San Francisco-based Twitter received Thursday an email advising that before 4:00 p.m. they will have a notification informing them whether or not they will continue with the company, according to the US media.

The British newspaper Financial Times reported on Thursday that Musk plans to cut some 3,700 jobs from the company, which It has some 7,500 employees.
