The ever-popular jazz festival held in Almuñécar each year, Festival Internacional de Jazz en la Costa, kicks off tonight at 22.00h
Tonight’s performance will be provided by the Jazz formation, Juan Dog Sextet, led by Santiago Auserón. People who remember the 80s here will recall the very popular pop band at the time Radio Futura.
Santiago like many musicians from the pop world migrated to the Jazz one with great success.

In 2003 Santiago performed at the Jazz on the Coast with the Jazz formation Tonadas Factory (Septet), with band members Jorge Pardo, Chano Domínguez, Marc Miralta, Jordi Bonell and Javier Colina
Tonight the sextet will play twelve numbers with Pan-American influences and the concert is entitled Song of Ultramar.
