Covid today Italy, 4 regions at moderate risk

Coronavirus in Italy, to date there are 4 regions and autonomous provinces classified at moderate risk: Abruzzo, Molise and the provinces of Trento and Bolzano, according to the latest monitoring on the progress of the Covid-19 epidemic of the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (Iss) and the Ministry of Health, relating to the week 6-12 September, today under examination in the control room. The remaining 17 Regions / PAs are classified as low risk.

In Italy, in the meantime, only Sicily remains in the yellow zone, where however the orange zones have not been renewed in 11 of the 12 Sicilian municipalities affected to date by the restrictive measures for the containment of infections from Covid-19. The measures were not extended as the parameters that had made them necessary to adopt have improved, including the achievement of the residents’ vaccination targets. Therefore, they return to the yellow zone, like the whole island: Augusta, Avola, Pachino, Noto, Portopalo di Capo Passero, Rosolini, Ferla in the province of Syracuse; Catenanuova, in the Ennese area; Comiso and Vittoria, in the province of Ragusa; Niscemi, in the Nisseno area.
