After endless complaints for poor conditions for the development of their work and treatment of patients, the body of surgeons of the Carlos Van Buren Hospital officially delivered their request to the Valparaíso – San Antonio Health Service in the midst of the strike they are carrying out. For this Friday, the surgeons of the Carlos Van Buren Hospital agreed on a work table in conjunction with the Valparaíso Health Service &# 8211; San Antonio.
This was after the official delivery of his request to the institution in the midst of the strike that began on October 26.
The report, which includes seven points, will be evaluated by the entity that will establish the pertinent deadlines according to their priority.

Among the main explicit demands are the presence of more anesthetists and staff in training.
Along with that, an equipped center independent of the current building was requested for patients in the psychiatric area of the campus.
This was explained by Juan Pablo Larraín, spokesman and surgeon at the Carlos Van Buren Hospital.
The professional highlighted the willingness of the service and detailed other requests that need an urgent solution.
Among them, he mentioned always having three emergency wards available, a replacement mechanism for surgeons, having sufficient supplies for surgeries, the redesign of the mental health unit and explore the possibility of having a new hospital in five to ten more years.
In this same line, the director of Primary Care of Health of the Service, Patricia Vega, expressed her agreement with the meeting and referred to the goals that they intend to resolve to improve the health service.
Regarding care at Carlos Van Hospital Buren, the spokesman for the body of surgeons reiterated that the mobilization is subject to the resolution of the negotiations.
