Within the framework of activities for the exhibition Tovar: Living Surrealism, the Ivan Tovar Foundation the first of a series of talks that will take place in the coming days.

During the first meeting, led by the curator Gamal Michelen and the collector Edwin Espinal, different aspects of the surrealist movement were addressed, both in the country and internationally.

Michelen spoke up. on the importance of surrealism in the literary movements of our continent and abounded about the pictorial value of many of its representatives around the world. about Tovar’s dream world and the influence of French surrealism on his work.

On his side, Edwin Espinal highlighted He explained the value of Tovar’s work, explaining the meaning behind its symbology, colors and tonalities.
