Daniel Vázquez, a former member of the Onda Vaselina group, today OV7 , broke the silence after it was learned that the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJ-CDMX) linked him to proceedings for the crime of retention of minors.
Vázquez was accused by his former partner of holding their daughter last April, including an Amber alert for disappearance. But to clarify what happened, Daniel assured on Instagram that it was a “ too uncomfortable and delicate” moment, since the minor was with him because the girl’s mother had symptoms of COVID-19 and they did not want to be exposed to it. contagion.
Months later it is known that the capital authorities charged Daniel for his probable participation in the crime of retention of minors, in addition a control judge linked him to the process because the corresponding evidence of the case was found.
After knowing the order of the FGJ-CDMX, the singer shared a press release with the Ventaneando program, where he clarified that he was not arrested, but collaborates with the authorities of Mexico City to clarify his legal situation and favor the well-being of his daughter.

“I want to clarify that I was not detained or kidnapped anyone, I have always behaved in favor of safeguarding the safety of my daughter and unfortunately I cannot give details of the trial because it is a legal matter,” he said in the document transmitted by the program of TV Azteca.
“ I am an honorable citizen, respectful of the law and what I have done at all times is to take care of my daughter, so I requested an urgent measure of deposit of the girl before the competent authority , as a legal mechanism to safeguard my daughter, but until now it has not been resolved ”, added the former member of the group Onda Vaselina.
Daniel Vázquez remains on the lookout for the pertinent investigations and at the disposal of the authorities “to provide all the evidence they need, always seeking the well-being of my daughter . Some evidence that I contributed and that is very important remains to be seen ”.
He thanked the people around him for the support he has received and trusts the work of the Mexican authorities to clarify his legal situation.
Last Thursday the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City released a statement to report on the Vázquez process.
“The social representative of the Office of the Prosecutor for Investigation of Crimes Committed to Torture of Girls, Boys and Adolescents, attached to the General Coordination of Investigation of Gender Crimes and Attention to Victims, provided sufficient evidence that allowed obtaining said resolution during the continuation of the initial hearing ”, reads the text released by the local authorities.
The parties will have four months to provide the necessary evidence regarding the case.
