He died at 70 David Randall, British journalist ed former deputy director of the Observer. Known in Italy for several books and for his collaboration with the International magazine. The reporter had a wife, Pam, four children – Guy, Paul, Simon and Tom – and four grandchildren.
In his career Randall has worked mainly for theObserver and the Independent. In 1987 it was mainly thanks to him that the Observer made a great technological leap towards online.
