Dead Nino D’Agata, goodbye to the voice actor of Reverend Lovejoy

The actor and voice actor left us Nino D’Agata at the age of 65. Among his most recognizable dubs we can find Reverend Timothy Lovejoy ne The Simpsons in some episodes of the eighth season and then up to the twenty-ninth, replacing Enzo Avolio, and Paul Bettany as JARVIS and Vision in the films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the first Iron Man as far as Captain America: Civil War.

The causes of death have not yet been disclosed. A premature death that surprised both family members and professionals. Well-known fictional actor, Nino D’Agata made his debut as an actor already in adulthood in the film Giovanni Falcone directed by Giuseppe Ferrara.

His great expressiveness guaranteed him participation to a large number of films, like The last Kiss by Gabriele Muccino o The Consequences of Love by Paolo Sorrentino. In the world of television dramas he became famous for playing General Tosi in RIS – Crimes Imperfetti.

Among the other crime-related projects that have brought him into the memory of the spectators we also find Antimafia squad, Police District but also Don Matteo, The young Montalbano, or The boss of bosses.

His recognizable and enveloping voice has also guaranteed him many dubbing works, such as the aforementioned Reverend Timothy Lovejoy in The Simpsons, and Paul Bettany in many of the Marvel Studios films (from Avengers Infinity War forward he was replaced by Mauro Gravina).

Other roles include Alec Baldwin in the film Notting Hill with Julia Roberts or, as in the case of animated cinema, in the film Dreamworks Giuseppe – The king of dreams voiced the character of Issachar.
