The LP Racing Team is back on track this weekend at the Piero Taruffi circuit in Vallelunga, for the third round of the Italian GT Championship Endurance series. Sharing the steering wheel of the Lamborghini Huracan, Pietro Perolini, Lorenzo vigil and Angelo Negro, with the latter making his debut on the Roman track.
A very demanding weekend, where it will be important to bring home as many points as possible, the gaps in this phase of the series, now in its penultimate act, are fundamental. The weekend program includes two free sessions on Friday, the first from 10.50 to 12.00 and the second from 16.10 to 17.20. Saturday dedicated to qualifying, starting at 1.40 pm until 2.45 pm. On Sunday the race will close the weekend with a green light at 14.00
Team principal Luca Pirri said: “We are very happy to resume the Endurance series after the summer break. We will go to the Campagnano circuit with Pietro Perolini, fresh from the Imola weekend who still sees him at the top of the standings. Obviously Lorenzo Veglia will be present. and Angelo Negro who makes his debut on the Roman track, but has trained on the simulator with targeted sessions, since he does not know the track. We will do our best to bring home the best result. The pace of all three drivers will be important, we will try to do our best, do not make mistakes. We will try to use all the time available to us on the track for the best set-up “.
