“I have contacted Pak Sandi,” said Deputy Chairman of LPSK Susilaningtias, Tuesday (13/4/2021).
He said Sandi admitted that he did not need protection. However, Susilaningtias did not explain in detail why Sandi had not asked for protection.
“He said that until now the LPSK still does not need protection,” he said.
Previously, Sandi exposed allegations of corruption by staging a protest at Depok City Hall. The action went viral.
Sandi carried a poster that read ‘Mr. Kemendagri, please, to take firm action against officials in the fire department Depok. We are required to work 100 percent, but the equipment in the field to purchase is not 10 percent, a lot of embezzlement !!! ‘. There is also a poster ‘Pak President Jokowi please investigate the corruption crime of the Depok Fire Service #StopKorupsiDamkar’
One of the allegations of corruption revealed by Sandi was the procurement of shoes in 2018. According to Sandi, the shoes received by him and his coworkers did not match specifications.
Sandi said there were allegations of cuts related to mitigation incentives and spraying disinfectants. Supposedly, each officer received an incentive of Rp 1.7 million, but only Rp 850 thousand was received.
He admitted that he received threats in the form of pressure to resign until he was given a warning letter (SP) by his superior after the action. He also admitted that he was on the ground.
Head of the Depok Damkar Service, Gandara, denied the corruption allegations made by Sandi. He stated fixtures Fire Fighters already in accordance with the applicable rules.
“What was conveyed was not true. The equipment was in accordance with the rules,” said Gandara when asked for confirmation detikcom, Monday (12/4).
Gandara mentioned the incentive cut which was also questioned by Sandi. According to him, incentives were cut for BPJS (Social Security Management Agency).
“The explanation from the field that handles it, is actually the deduction for BPJS Employment and BPJS Health which is the obligation of the members and the deduction is not that big. The technical one can ask the field,” he added.
Password support also continues to flow. The Ministry of Home Affairs and the KSP invited Sandi to complain about the alleged corruption.
