DOOM 64 was already included in the Switch version of DOOM Eternal, so this extra title is already owned by many fans.

QuakeCon 2021 brought with it several interesting announcements, such as the anniversary edition of Skyrim, and the remastering of the original Quake. DOOM didn’t have something that shocking this year, but it wasn’t completely forgotten, as DOOM Slayers Collection It has already arrived on Nintendo Switch, and with an additional title that the other versions of the bundle do not have.
The collection includes 5 games in its version of Nintendo Switch.DOOM Slayers Collection is a compilation of several titles in the series, released in 2019. Includes titles: DOOM, DOOM II, DOOM 3 and DOOM (2016). This version for Nintendo Switch, however, also comes with DOOM 64, giving us a total of 5 games in a single purchase.

Additional play is a nice touch, but DOOM 64 it was already given away in all purchases of DOOM Eternal for Nintendo Switch, so many fans of the franchise surely already have it in their library. There was no reason why this title it was not integrated in the other versions of the Slayers Collection, but taking into account that DOOM 64 is already available in various platforms, it’s not like it’s a hard game to get.
DOOM 64 originally came out on 1997, for Nintendo 64. The game was re-released many years later for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch, but with several performance improvements, as well as a new episode, which serves as the epilogue of the original story.
