Elton John is coming to Disney. preparing to bid farewell in fabulous splendor, with the help of a documentary crew and the Walt Disney Co.
Disney Original Documentary and Disney+ said Wednesday that the film, titled “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road: The Final Elton John Performances and the Years that Made His Legend,” as the definitive and official feature film on John’s life and career. Includes previously unseen archival footage, new interviews and a current look at him and his family, culminating & á; with his last show in North America at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles this November.
Oscar-nominated filmmaker RJ Cutler, who recently directed Billie Eilish’s documentary “Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry,” is directing the film along with producer/director David Furnish, who is currently on board. married to John. Furnish also directed the 1997 Elton John documentary “Elton John: Tantrums & Tiaras” and produced the Hollywood biographical film “Rocketman”.
