Lissandro won Eurovision Junior 2022 — CORINNE CUMMING
We couldn’t imagine it! On the starting line of Eurovision Junior, which was held this Sunday at Yerevan (Armenia), the French candidate, Lissandro, 13, was an outsider. The bettors were betting more on the Armenian, British and Georgian candidates, in particular, for the victory.
And yet, with his song Oh mom!, Lissandro offered to France the second trophy in its history in this competition. The one who was finalist of The Voice Kids in 2020 pocketed; 132 points from the jurors and 71 more thanks to the support of television viewers.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest was created in 2003. It is open to artists aged 9 to 10. 14 years old. France took part in it. to six times. In 2004, Thomas Pontier finished sixth. The country took part in; all editions since 2018 and has always finished in the Top 5, winning for the first time, in 2020, with Valentina and her song J’imagine.
Delphine Ernotte, president of France Télévisions, has already make known his will to host Eurovision Junior 2023 in France.
