The Santagostino Medical Center, a network of specialist outpatient clinics, the first in Italy to experiment with a highly digitized healthcare model, supports Durex in the project ‘Sextember – The month of sexual health’. The Center will make its staff and all its medical-scientific experience available to the initiative. “Durex called us after recognizing us as a partner with the right characteristics for the type of service – he says Luca Foresti, CEO of Santagostino – We discussed what kind of project to do and what services we were able to provide. Obviously, the fundamental constraint was to have services that could be provided throughout Italy and this led to the widespread use of digital services “.
Until 30 September, the experts of the Center will participate in the project that aims to promote increasingly responsible and aware behaviors in the emotional and sexual sphere, offering a panel of medical and psychological services and consultations to people. “In this month – continues Foresti – we will first take charge of people through a chat managed by psychologists with the task of identifying the needs of those who contact us. Once we understand the need, we make available a hundred professionals such as dermatologists, gynecologists, urologists, psychosexologists, women and men. These specialists will take care of that particular need in a deeper way. All provided free of charge. This is a project that aims to help people understand what they have to deal with relatively to one’s sexual health “.
Furthermore, in Milan, it will also be possible to have face-to-face interviews thanks to the camper made available by Durex and Santagostino. The goal is to create a physical and direct contact point between the Santagostino specialists and the people interested in the key messages of the initiative. On board the camper, and always free of charge, it will be possible to receive information material on safe sex and request a 30-minute discussion with a psychosexologist. The camper will be present with the following scheduling and location: Saturday 4th September, from 4 pm to 10 pm in Piazza XXIV Maggio; Friday 17 September, from 3 pm to 9 pm, in Piazza Donne Partigiane; Thursday 23 September, from 1.30 pm to 7.30 pm, in via Andrea Maria Ampère (pedestrian area in front of the Leonardo Theater); Saturday 25 September, from 3 pm to 9 pm, in via Emilio Alemagna (in front of the Triennale).
