According to the National Meteorological Service (SMN), tropical storm Gamma made landfall in the vicinity of Tulum, Quintana Roo, where the protagonist of Rosario Tijeras is currently located . In this region of the state there are maximum sustained winds of 110 kilometers per hour and gusts of 140 km / h.

Before the arrival of the climatic phenomenon in Quintana Roo, Bárbara canceled the physical activity that she would broadcast live through her social network.

He specified that the authorities of the state of Quintana Roo issued a red alert for the municipalities of Lázaro Cárdenas, Solidaridad, Cozumel, Tulum, Puerto Morelos, Benito Juárez, Isla Mujeres and Felipe Carrillo Puerto.

The SMN explained that tropical storm Gamma will cause extraordinary occasional rains, which will cause the accumulation of up to 250 millimeters of water in Quintana Roo and Yucatán; torrential punctuals in Chiapas; intense in Campeche and Tabasco, and very strong in northeast Oaxaca and southern Veracruz.

He predicted winds of 80 to 100 km / h and swells of two to six meters in height on the coasts of Yucatan and Quintana Roo; from 60 to 70 km / h and waves of one to three meters in height on the coasts of Campeche and Tabasco, and from 50 to 60 km / h and waves of one to two meters on the southern coast of Veracruz.
