On the day when the government is called to decide on the issue of the mandatory Green Pass for places at risk of crowding, such as restaurants and indoor venues, trains, airplanes, swimming pools and gyms, the leader of the League Matteo Salvini reiterates its opposition to the obligation of a “green certificate”.
“President Draghi will decide on the extension of the state of emergency”, said Salvini speaking to Agora Summer, on Rai3. “I am interested in not ruining the lives of millions of Italians who are not yet covered by the vaccine, many cannot do it for health reasons”.
Speaking of the mandatory Green Pass, Salvini commented: “Let’s not joke. We cannot stop a tourist season that is painstakingly restarting in mid-July. Especially in a moment in which, even if the infections go back, the intensive therapies remain almost empty “.
