One of the most interesting features that TikTok has is that the user can decide < b>who interacts with oneself; that is, who can comment on one’s contents, react to them or whether these videos can be downloaded.
All these options are are concentrated in the same control paneland they always offer two or three possibilities: Everyone, Friends (users who follow you and those you follow) or Nobody.
1. Enter the app and go to the profile (Me), tapping on the icon in the lower right corner.
2. Touch the three dots in the upper right corner.
3. Enter ‘Privacy’, to then access the ‘Security’ section.
4. Now if the user swipes the screen they will find a section with 7 parameters.

2. Tap on the three dotsin the upper right corner.
3. Enter ‘Privacy’.
4. In the ‘Visibility’ section, go to the second option ‘Recommend your account to others’.
5. Here you can see different settings with which TikTok can recommend your account to different users. If you don’t want it to be shown to anyone, you just have to deactivate absolutely everything.

Limit who can see each video
One thing is that no one can see the uploaded videos because an account is private and quite another to have a public profile but then have certain content that you only want them to see certain people.
TikTok allows you to create videos that, when published, are only visible to a small number of people and applying this function is as easy as following these steps:
1. Record the video you want on TikTok.
2. Once in the pre-publish panel, tap on ‘Who can see this video‘.
3. There are three options: Public (all TikTok users can see the video), Friends (only one’s followers and those one also follows), and Private (only you can see it yourself).
4. Select the one you want and that’s it.

How to activate Profile Viewing History
Another measure that can be adopt to have greater security is to activate the history of profile views which, first of all, is deactivated in the app and can be very interesting to know who enters more often of all those users who know each other.
Even those who don’t, which may be an even better indicator. Keep in mind that this function only stores the activity of the last 30 days and that to have it we have to be over 16 years old and not have more than 5,000 followers.
In order to know the step by step, Infobae recently made an article on the subject.
