Little by little, over the years, Netflix has made very nice shots, picking series that had been condemned by their chains of original broadcast. The head of the list, of course, is’s arrested Development, Lucifer and the Designated Survivor. Unlike us networks, the streaming platform can monetize its content through its global reach and, above all, it is the contents that are visionnables on the long-term. Another series could well meet the same fate : Hannibal.
And if Netflix was in command of other seasons of Hannibal ?
Why the topic is back on the table today ? The series Hannibal came to an end in 2015, when NBC decided to put an end to it. Developed by Bryan Fuller from a story by Thomas Harris, it was nevertheless very popular with the public and critics. Mads Mikkelsen, who plays Hannibal Rising picking up even one of his best roles.
However, it has been integrated very recently (5 June) in the catalog of the streaming platform. An arrival that raise the hope of the fans. After all, Bryan Fuller has never abandoned the idea of being able to extend the story. Worse still, at the time of the cancellation, the wrath of the team was great as season 4 was supposed to represent a kind of culmination.

Interviewed by an american media, he recently confirmed that he had the urge to resume his role and that there was also hope.
Yes, I think that there is always hope. I know that Bryan is thinking of some ideas. I also have a strong hunch that all the people involved in the series would be happy to replace the cover if the opportunity presented itself.
