The presidential delegate for the province of Chacabuco, Giordano Delpin, traveled to the operations center that was installed to fight the fire in Til Til, where he delivered a preliminary balance of what is happening in that place.
There is no risk of housing
On the occasion, the representative of the Executive indicated that “so far this Til Til fire has no houses nearby. We do not have critical infrastructure in the sector, therefore it is only a forest fire”.
In addition, he explained that it is a fire “difficult to access”, so “it can only be addressed with air resources”.
In that sense, he explained that Helicopters and tanker planes have been arranged to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from advancing.
“The fire also has a characteristic that goes up and upwards is an area of rock, therefore that makes us positively assess the situation that may come from now on with which means the fire here in Til Til”, Delpin remarked.
