Restaurant restrictions were lifted in Central Finland last week. Nightlife has quickly returned to pre-pandemic levels.
Late Friday night in Jyväskylä is at the same time quite ordinary, and still special.
Jyväskylä is the only slightly larger Finnish city where restaurants are allowed to be open for small hours and the number of partygoers is not limited. The atmosphere in the city is like any autumn night before a pandemic.
