We have received some interesting news about the next Harry Potter game. It looks like, it would be possible to use dark magic in Hogwarts Legacy. A Hogwarts Legacy writer was commissioned to share new details about the game. Hogwarts Legacy was coming out this year. Sadly, WB Games ended up delaying the title earlier this year, resulting in virtually no new information on the project.

And although we still cannot say that Hogwarts Legacy has officially shared new details, we do have news of the game. In a recent interaction on Twitter, DC Allen, Hogwarts Legacy writer, seemed to suggest that players could use the darkest magic in the wizarding world.

On twitter, Allen was asked if the murders would be present in the game. Although he did not answer this question directly, Allen said that the age rating that Hogwarts Legacy will apparently receive he should allow murder, as long as it’s not too gruesome. Allen went on to say that the game will show “a lot of evil in the wizarding world.” Many fans have long wondered if it would be possible to kill others in the game, meaning that there would be dark magic in Hogwarts Legacy.

However, if this game writer’s answer is any indicator, maybe dark magic could be used in Hogwarts Legacy, like Avada Kedavra. On the other hand, there is also the possibility that all the potential death that could be present in the game comes simply from the antagonists. Only time will tell.
