Is it coming home? No, coming Rome. Winning ahead of time did not help the English who at the end of the Wembley final saw their dreams of glory shattered on penalties against Italy. Also Fiat wanted to pay the just honors to the National by Roberto Mancini who graduated as European champion, with a post on the official social channels of the Turin brand, playing on the emblematic phrase of this victory.
Italy, the supercars of the Azzurri, European champions
The protagonist of the post could only be the Fiat 500, the iconic model of the Lingotto and an authentic symbol of Made in Italy at an international level. Cinquino celebrated his 64th birthday on 4 July and on the evening of the Azzurri’s triumph he wanted to congratulate Mancini’s boys in his own way. So on Instagram you can see the new electric Fiat 500 with an Italian flag sticking out of the window and the words “It’s coming Rome”, with the silhouette of the Eternal City behind it. The post on Instagram is accompanied by a short sentence that compliments the Azzurri for the path and the sporting feat completed: “Now we can shout it out loud, – we read in the Fiat post – ‘it’s coming Rome’. Great football is tinged with blue at Wembley. Thanks for the whole journey, it was an unforgettable journey. “
