Lovrencic: “From iWish research, ITP patients are concerned about the negative effects of corticosteroids”

“The iWish research shows that 70% of patients who have had corticosteroid therapies are very concerned about the long-term side effects of these therapies. Regarding the quality of life of ITP patients, the study also gives due weight to fatigue, chronic fatigue that has a great impact on patients’ lives ”. This was stated by Barbara Lovrencic, President of AIPIT (Italian Association of Immune Thrombocytopenic Purpura), on the sidelines of the event “Primary Immune Thrombocytopenia: changing the approach to change your life”, promoted by Inrete with the non-conditioning contribution of Novartis.
