Luca Zingaretti has made official, in the pages of Repubblica, the final farewell to one of the most loved TV series of all time: Montalbano. The actor explained that, after the death of Andrea Camilleri and director Alberto Sironi, he does not believe it is right to move forward, but rather to respect the natural conclusion of the saga.
The Inspector Montalbano it will not be seen again on Rai 1. Although there were still doubts about the continuation of one of the most beloved television sagas of all time, now he was the protagonist Luca Zingaretti to explain that, most likely, he will no longer play the role of the commissioner who has made millions of Italians passionate about his investigations.
