An entrepreneur from Concepción bought an iPhone 13 online from the Paris store Pro Max, however, when he opened the parcel, was surprised to find that hair oil was coming.

The high-end phone that he acquired costs more than one million pesos, a mobile phone that he intended to use for the audiovisual production work of the company to which he belongs, and which is just beginning with his group.

For this reason, both he and his colleagues find themselves in a difficult situation, since it is the work tool they need to perform in wedding, photography and publicity events to which they are committed. The foregoing has harmed them financially, since they have had to cancel several.

Cencosud replied that “the product was delivered”

Aedo, when requesting an explanation from Paris -belonging to Cencosud- the statement they received from the consortium was, “the product has already been delivered”. The response did not satisfy the entrepreneur, who pointed, in his words, to the “lack of seriousness of a commercial group as large as Cencosud”.

“The response that the head of customer service at Paris Barros Arana gave us was that they reported that the product was delivered by the transport company, so we stood idly by (…) we have seen more of these cases in the news, and the coincidence is that it is the same transport company, Pipau.

They added that, “they did not comply with the response deadlines that they indicate in their policies, and Sernac does a very simple investigation and the company responds to what it told us, so there remains the issue”.

“We call Sernac to make a investigation accordingly”, he ruled.

Regarding Paris, Leonardo indicated that it is the responsibility of said company, since they are the ones who also charge the office in the billing, and assuming that it was the The transport company that failed, attributes the blame to Cencosud.
