Michael K. Williams, actor known for his role as Omar Little on the series The Wire, was found dead inside his Brooklyn penthouse. According to the police report, the actor was discovered unconscious inside his dining room, along with an unconfirmed amount of heroin. Williams was 54 years old.

Williams had already commented openly, about his problem with drugs through the years, including those where he was working on the series The Wire. The actor even mentioned that his role as Omar little, who stole drugs on the show, got to affect him in real life.
