Marc Marquez during the first free practice session of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone he ran into a ruinous crash for his Honda but apparently harmless for the eight-time world champion who was also testing the new rear brake lever operated today in PL1 on the left handlebar. However, Marquez had some consequences. In fact, the Spanish rider in PL2 had to deal with a right eye that continued to water due to a small wound caused by the gravel that entered his right eye.
The Honda rider did not take the post-PL2 interviews and went to the mobile clinic to be examined. The doctors have instructed Marquez to observe complete rest for his right eye, but his presence in PL3 tomorrow is absolutely not in doubt. “I had a bit of a problem because theeye kept watering – Marquez explained as reported by the newspaper Brand – but the view was good. In any case, now I will leave the eye to rest and for tomorrow there will be no problem according to what the doctors have told me. I started the day with great spirit because physically I’m fine, my shoulder hasn’t bothered me these days. It seems we can be very competitive here at Silverstone, I hope to be competitive in the race too ”.
