Just look at the June data to realize this: there is an overall increase of 34.9% compared to the positive 2019, while the trend on the same month of 2020 is stable (-0.3%), which however was a month of boom following the dealer lockdown period. The president of the manufacturers’ association, Paolo Magri, commenting on the market trend, spoke of “a sort of state of grace for all mobility on two wheels, which however – he stressed – still has to deal with some problems of procurement of vehicles due to the lack of components and the international situation of ship transport “.

In the first six months of the year, mopeds, scooters and motorbikes recorded an overall increase of 53.5% equal to 176,360 registered vehicles. In particular, mopeds reach 9,809 (+ 23.8%), scooters 92,010 (+ 56.33%) and motorbikes 74,541 (+ 54.95%). Compared to the first six months of 2019, there was an overall increase in the market of 18.7%.
