Second medal for Italy at the Mountain Bike World Championships in Daolasa di Commezzadura, Val di Sole. In the Under 23 test Juri Zanotti confirmed the European silver he won in Novi Sad. The 22-year-old from Lombardy finished at 1:03 behind the Chilean Martin Vidaurre, who is unstoppable for everyone. For Italy it is the second medal in the home World Cup, after the bronze conquered by Sara Cortinovis in the women’s junior test on Thursday. Bronze medal for the Swiss Joel Roth (+ 1’38 ”), European Champion in Novi Sad right in front of Zanotti. Fourth is the other Swiss Luca Schatti (+ 1’55 ”). Two other Azzurri in the top-10 confirming the excellent state of health of the youth movement in Italy. Filippo Fontana finished in sixth place, right in front of an unlucky Simone Avondetto.

Bronze medal for the Danish Caroline Bohe (+ 3’26 “), right in front of the blue Marika Tovo (+ 4’03”), author of a great performance in a race with high technical content.
