Musician Alexander Levshin, who collaborated with singer Alla Pugacheva and was friends with her ex-husband, director Alexander Stefanovich, who died on July 13, called the cause of his death “the plague of our days.”
“I learned about Sasha … I flew away … I grieve … My God! What is it ?! No one is spared by this infection … And when will they make a cure for the plague of our days? ” – wrote Levshin on his Facebook page under a joint photo with Stefanovich.
Stefanovich died on Tuesday, July 13, at the age of 77. The director died at the Bakhrushin hospital, where he was hospitalized in early July with extensive lung damage.
Earlier on July 13, the son of the artist Nikas Safronov, pianist Luka Safronov-Zatravkin, spoke about the state of Stefanovich on the eve of his death.

Alexander Stefanovich was the second husband of Alla Pugacheva. They were married for three years, from December 1977 to December 1980. The producer took an active part in creating the stage image of the singer. According to him, it was he who invented the style of Pugacheva.
