At the headquarters of the PPD, in the center of Santiago, the leaders of the ruling parties met. This is the first meeting between Government collectivities after the conclave called by President Gabriel Boric.
In the instance, they dealt with the controversies surrounding the constitutional process and the legislative differences of the coalitions, to allow the promotion of projects such as the Pension Reform.
Natalia Piergentili, president of the PPD, He maintained that the meeting is an instance to establish the guidelines to finalize the agreements reached in the conclave.

“First, by the way, is to establish everything that we raised in the conclave, which has to do with our organization and our resolution of controversies; to how we are going to face the challenges that are in Congress today, such as the pension reform”, said the community leader.
Meanwhile, the deputy Diego Ibáñez, president of Social Convergence (CS), stressed that after the conclave it was possible to materialize the advance in the unity of the Government parties to allow the election of Vlado Mirosevic (PL) to the presidency of the Chamber.
In addition, the parliamentarian emphasized that the focus of the meeting will serve to order the house.
“What we party presidents have to do is tidy up the house. It is to establish what our proposals will be for the framework of the National Security Agreement. Also to refine everything related to the constituent process. And to focus our action and parliamentary unity on the pension reform”, he said.
PPD militants participated in the meeting; Social convergence; Commons, Communist Party; Socialist Party; Social Green Regionalist Federation; Radical Party.
While representatives of the Democratic Revolution and the Liberal Party were connected remotely.
